Antiparos is famous for it's cave also known as the ''shelter''. The cave lies on the hill of Ai Yiannis, to the south east of the island and must have been known in antiquity, because fragments of ancient pottery have been found there. The entrance to the cave is also the site of the old church of Saint John. Antiparos today has the power to enchant the visitor.
